What a Time to Pray

It goes without saying that life experiences shape us. As the world around us changes and uncertainty hangs everywhere, some lessons, some trials, some tribulations we just have to suffer through, and learn along the way. Whether this health pandemic is a season of trial or a season of triumph, what a time to silence distractions and seek wisdom from God.

“Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.” (James 1:2-5 NIV)

What a time to spend more moments in God’s word, learning more about His character, His love, His voice. What a time to pray for our families, for our country, for our world, for ourselves. What a time to expect miracles, signs and wonders. What a time to face our mental strongholds, learning how to work through and past them.

During this season of quarantine, let’s do all we can to make room for God every day, so we don’t look back in a few months and wish we had done so. How can you spend more time with God today?
